Phase II research requirements: The purpose of phase II is to find potential solutions for your social issue. Each of your potential solutions must be researchable and feasible. For example, one solution for World Hunger could not be to give food to everyone. If it was that easy, we would have done it already.
Phase II Research Requirements:
Identify two valid solutions for your issue
Total of AT LEAST 30 new pieces of information for solution research (split somewhat evenly between each solution)
Information is color coded in the same manner as problem research
Utilize at least four sources to find solution information—you must utilize at least two new sources for information—can be from Gale or reliable web sources.
Phase II Options: YOU MUST FOLLOW THE SAME PATH FROM PHASE I
Option #1: Informative Multi-Media Presentation - to be completed in iMovie (preferred) or Prezi
All information regarding problems and solutions should be presented and organized in a meaningful and effective manner
All background information should be presented regarding the social issue
Both solutions should be presented and explained
Information should be cited at the bottom of each slide (or at the end for Prezi)
Presentation creates interest in the topic and keeps the audience’s attention throughout
Information is presented through audio, text, graphics, and video
All timings, transitions, backgrounds, etc. are perfected before submitted
A student created video is included and is used in a meaningful manner
A Works Cited page is submitted at the same time via a Word document
